Barristers' Bowl is a full tackle football game and cheer performance put on by LSU Law students to raise money for charity.
Each year, LSU Law Students exchange their textbooks for shoulder pads and pom poms to put on the annual Barristers' Bowl, a full-tackle charity football game. After being drafted to their respective teams, students enter into a friendly competition and "battle for the gavel" on the field, complete with a performance by an all-law-student cheer squad. While a main goal of the Barristers' Bowl is to provide a fun event for law students, their families, and alumni, the overarching mission of the game is to give back to the community. This year, we are proud to select the Sexual Trauma Awareness and Response Center as our annual charity. All proceeds from the event will benefit STARĀ®.
