Press release from the City of Edina: November 25, 2020 Edina, Minn., Nov. 25, 2020 – The Edina City Council will hold an electronic work session and meeting Tuesday, Dec. 1. Members will also meet as the Housing & Redevelopment Authority immediately after the City Council meeting. At its work session, the City Council will discuss the proposed 2021 budget and 2021-2025 Capital Improvement Plan and receive a COVID-19 financial update from the Finance Department. Members of the public can listen to the work session by calling 800-374-0221 with Conference ID 6089237. The regular City Council meeting will begin at 7 p.m. Members of the public can watch the meeting live: • Edina TV (Comcast Channels 813 or 16) • Facebook.com/EdinaMN • City's "Watch a Meeting" web page at EdinaMN.gov/LiveMeetings Members of the public can participate in "Community Comment" or a public hearing by calling 800-374-0221 with Conference ID 1548149 during the City Council meeting. A public hearing will be held on a proposed rezoning and subdivision at 70th Street and France Avenue. Public hearings are also scheduled on the 2021 Tax Levy and Operating Budget, along with setting fees for City services. A public hearing has also been scheduled on a proposed rezoning of the Southdale Office Center at 6600-6800 France Ave., but staff are recommending the City Council table that matter until Jan. 5. To participate in Community Comment or a public hearing, press *1 on your telephone keypad after connecting to the conference. An operator will mute your line and place you into a queue until it is your turn to speak. The Housing & Redevelopment Authority will convene to hold a public hearing on the proposed 2021 budget.
