Currently hiring for 2 shifts: 1st - 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM & 2nd - 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM Position Summary: The individual in this position is responsible for assuring that all apparel meets or exceeds the brands’ and customer’s quality expectations. They will evaluate pre-production finishes and quality of the final product. This individual is a key player in the day-to-day functions of all final quality of product. Position Responsibilities: · Perform quality control of screen-printed/ embroidered garments. · Flat stack garments for machine operators in an organized fashion while they are setting up the press. · Request approved sample from press operators on each job and keep sample at table to compare each shirt as they come off the dryer. · Determine any potential quality issues with screen printed/ embroidered garments as they are printed and communicate to press operator any concerns right away. · Report/ Document any spoilage on the work ticket and communicate that spoilage to the appropriate person based on work ticket notes immediately. · Count garments to ensure they match the purchase order by style, color and size as they come off the press and report any discrepancies. · Package orders into bags or boxes for shipment in a neat and organized fashion. · Organize shipments into drop ship locations as needed according to packing lists or verbal instructions. · Deliver complete orders to the appropriate department based on work ticket once the job is complete on press. · Perform any maintenance or cleaning duties requested by Production Manager. · Assist in any other departments as needed. Qualifications: · Strong problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills. · Able to effectively listen and follow instructions. · While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time; work in and around a variety of industrial machinery and presses; bend over, squat, or climb. · Able to frequently move and lift up to 50 lbs when necessary. · Must demonstrate high level of hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity. · Must be able to differentiate colors and observe small details unaided · Excellent ability to adjust focus, color awareness and attention to small details. · Desire to create quality products. · Must be available to work hours and days as needed based on changing schedule demands, including overtime. Schedules and shifts may change throughout the year. · Show up every day on time, ready to support coworkers and engage with existing company culture. · Be passionate about quality and customer satisfaction. · Follow any and all established safety protocols including hearing and vision protection where required. · Maintain clean and safe working environment.
