All good things must come to an end: This is our final Yoga for Athletes this season as we spring forward with Daylight Savings Time in the hopes of chasing more light.
Hosted by the Park Ridge Cycling Club and held at Wheel & Sprocket in Park Ridge, this free, BYOM (Bring Your Own Mat) yoga class is designed to give participants the tools to increase mobility, flexibility, and stability in order to prevent injury and recover using yoga as we move into the fall and winter months.
The class will include postures and functional movement to improve stability ROM (range of motion) in one or more of the major joints - Ankles, Knees, Hips, and Shoulders; Flexibility in common areas of tightness and tension - Hip Flexors and Hamstrings; and core integration to help athletes remain aligned in the presence of change or outside force.
While the class is free, please consider a donation to the instructor, Cindy Dienhart who has taken the time to create the class and donate her time. A Karma jar will be present.
