Explore the wonders of winter at Candlestick Point State Recreation Area Whether you are curious about learning more about the flora and fauna of southeast San Francisco, an aspiring naturalist, or an iNat Pro, all are welcome to join Candlestick Point's next seasonal Bioblitz. Bring a pal, a reusable water bottle, and a smartphone or camera. We'll be meeting at the kiosk in front of 500 Hunter's Point Expressway and will head into our grassland and shoreline ecosystems. While most of the area is paved, we may encounter mud, tall grass, and lots of dust so please dress accordingly. If you are new to Bioblitzes, we will be providing an introduction to iNaturalist starting at 9:30 and will have folks on-site to support any troubleshooting.
