12th Annual Missouri Cherry Blossom Festival State Dinner
The 12th Annual State Dinner with feature John M. Collett as the keynote speaker. John is a retired Army Ranger and founder and president of Three Rangers Foundation. He earned a Bronze Star for valor and heroism after serving in Mogadishu, Somalia, in 1993, as part of a mission to capture top-ranking deputies of warlord Mohamed Farrah Aidid. He later received the Silver Star as well. After retiring from the Army, he was a military consultant and stuntman on the feature film Black Hawk Down, based on the crash of two U.S. helicopters and the death of American soldiers during the operation in Mogadishu that he participated in. This annual dinner will be held at the Marshfield Community Center (110 Commercial Street) on Saturday, April 30th at 7 PM (doors open at 6:30 PM). Tickets are $60 per person. Tickets are non-refundable.
