Our not for profit, Blossomed international, is focused on creating economic development projects to support orphans globally, creating fina The Blossomed International Not for Profit is kicking off with an event to share experiences and the culture of Ghana, and most importantly, share about the orphan children we have been called to serve. This informational session will include the following: 1. Sharing of our experiences from our most recent trip, our work thus far, and the project goals 2. African food, drink and merchandise imported from Ghana 3. Information on our next trip, and an overview of what it would take for you to come along next time Our not for profit, Blossomed international, is focused on creating economic development projects to support orphans globally, creating sustainable methods for financially supporting these vulnerable children. Our focus and emphasis is in the Volta region in Ghana, in the south east of the country, near the Togo-Ghana border. Or project thus far has consisted of the following: 1. Purchased 2.5 acres to build a farm and orphanage 2. Received bids and quotes for the building of the orphanage 3. Sent 3 children to college 4. Regular sending of food, clothes and provisions for the orphans 5. Remodeling of existing structures on the camp Our goal is to raise funds to build the orphanage to provide a safe place for the orphans to sleep, as well as build the farm so both the food and profits from the sale of the food can be used to support the children.
