Sienna Takabe Upcycle Fashion Pop Up Sienna Takabe is an up-and-coming designer based in Miami from Seattle, Washington. Her collection utilizes recycled materials to create sculptural, Japanese Harajuku inspired clothing. From patch work t-shirts to pouf sleeved shirts and dresses, each piece is a unique work of art. Sienna is presenting her work to the public for the first time in Miami at KREL Tropical Knitwear located in Miami Ironside. Sienna is currently a student at The Fashion Institute of South Florida and is KREL's studio assistant. www.instagram.com/siennatakabe www.siennatakabe.com KREL is a tropical knitwear company based in Miami designed by artist Karelle Levy.  The atelier hosts a variety of crafty workshops and designer trunkshows inside the beautiful Miami Ironside Design Complex on 76th St and NE 4th Court. KREL was founded in 2002 and has continuously recieved praise in the local and national fashion and art community.  The line has been seen on Nicki Minaj, Alanis Morissette, Wisin Dancers at the Latin Grammy's among others.  She recieved Best Fashion Designer by Miami New Times in 2005 & 2010 and press coverage in New York Times, Elle Magazine, Miami Herald, Art in America and more.  KREL opened the first flagship boutique in 2016.  Karelle Levy is the host of Stitch N Bitch events in Miami since 2009.  Feel free to join the Facebook group.  Free parking available on 78th Street and NE 4th Court, you'll see the entrance to the complex, walk all the way through to the south side by the Bocce Court past the Restaurant.  You'll see a yarn sign saying "OPEN" and you've found us!
