CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA — Meals on Wheels Diablo Region is calling for "elves" to step up and donate items to make seniors feel cared for in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic. The organization receives thousands of requests for help each year. Because of the pandemic, the nonprofit can only collect items in their original package. It must also limit the number of people dropping off items.
