HICKSVILLE, NY — An 81-year-old man was struck and killed by a car in Nassau County Saturday night, police said. According to Nassau police, the man was attempting to cross Jerusalem Avenue at Parc Lane in Hicksville at 7:15 p.m. when he was struck by a northbound 2005 Honda Civic. The man was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. The 20-year-old man driving the Honda was not injured. Police did not identify either man. No criminal charges have been filed.
