Here are the top 3 stories today in Buffalo: After a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Riverworks hosted the 2022 Buffalo Whiskey Riot Festival. Attendees were able to choose from over 200 different kinds of whiskey at the event. They were also able to meet the distillers that create their favorite whiskey brands. Erie chose to impose mask mandates while Niagara asked people to use their judgment. Buffalo News reports that the mask mandate may have made a difference looking at the numbers now a few months later. A National Fuel spokesperson reported that the outage was caused by extreme weather and representatives went home-to-home to try and manually solve the problem.
