NORWALK, CT — The "Seed Library" is now open at the Norwalk Public Library, allowing guests the opportunity to start their own gardens.
According to the library's Facebook page, seeds to start indoors are now available, including peppers, tomatoes and eggplant.
Seeds for cool weather crops, including lettuce, arugula and beets, which can be planted in March or early April depending on the weather, are also available. Seeds for warm weather crops will be available later in April.
The library, located on Belden Avenue, asks that patrons fill out a membership form and choose their seeds (one envelope per variety).
