Press release from the City of Eden Prairie: December 23, 2020 Eden Prairie's park maintenance staff have been busy prepping and flooding outdoor ice rinks. However, recent warm weather has prevented rinks from opening, and today's snowfall makes it hard to predict when the ice will be safe for skating. Staff will continue to monitor the condition of skating rinks and the Staring Lake Sledding Hill, and will update the City website when they are safe for use.
