Description

From the City of Eden Prairie: March 04, 2020 While no confirmed cases of the coronavirus have been reported in Minnesota, Eden Prairie's Emergency Management Team is working closely with public safety officials in neighboring cities and schools, along with our EMS, county and state partners to be fully prepared to protect our community. Eden Prairie, like all Minnesota cities, takes the coronavirus extremely seriously and is proactively working to minimize public health risk. Prevention Tips Follow these tips from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to prevent the spread of illnesses: Avoid close contact with people who are sick. Stay home when you are sick. Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash. Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe. Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing. If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60 percent alcohol. Always wash hands with soap and water if hands are visibly dirty. Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth. Current Information Stay tuned to the following websites for up-to-date information regarding the spread of coronavirus.
