Full time and part-time mechanics needed. Looking for a qualified vehicle/ equipment inspector to conduct vehicle/ equipment inspections on new and used Tractors, trucks and other types of vehicles within a designated geographical area. The inspector would be responsible for performing inspections for customers and buyers. Primary Skills: 1. Perform timely and efficient vehicle inspections and repairs at customer site locations and or shop locations. 2. Possess excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to listen and respond effectively to customer concerns. 3. Thoroughly document and record specific details regarding vehicle’s condition including: damage, scratches, dents, nicks, cleanliness, engine condition/mechanics, interior condition etc. 4. Ability to identify engine damage on diesel/gas engines, physical damage, previous repairs, frame damage, hail damage or flood damage and explain the results of the inspection within the report. 5. Possess a smart phone (with internet access), driver's license and own tools. 6. Must have good communication skills and be able to take direction. Must be meticulous and “attention to detail” focused. Accuracy is critical! Experience: Mechanical knowledge of cars, diesel engines, and commercial vehicles is a plus. Previous experience in any other areas (home, auto, structural, mechanical/electrical) is also a plus. General knowledge of cars/trucks/commercial equipment is preferred and recommended. Interested?
