GILROY, CA — The large Uesugi Farms site has been sold to a Bay Area development company according to a published report. The 69-acre parcel that operated as a family farm for many years had been in the early stages of foreclosure, The San Jose Mercury News reports. KT Urban, a Cupertino-based development company, paid $7.5 million for the property, the report said. Uesugi Farms' future was uncertain after its principal owners announced in early 2019 plans to shutter operations, the report said. Read more in The San Jose Mercury News
