CUPERTINO, CA — Amid the coronavirus crisis, one of this year's most eagerly anticipated tech events is being held virtually. Apple is expected to announce advancements of its iOS and macOS at its Worldwide Development Conference, which kicked off at 10 a.m., PC Mag reports. The Cupertino-based tech giant announced the conference would be held virtually on May 5. "WWDC20 will be our biggest yet, bringing together our global developer community of more than 23 million in an unprecedented way for a week in June to learn about the future of Apple platforms," said Phil Schiller, Apple's senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing.
