Their work is especially important during a time when rent costs are rising, inflation is increasing, and rental vacancy rates are historically low. Various funding supports the program's work with a recent $30,000 grant coming from the L&L Nippert Charitable Foundation. (Spectrum News 1) The Cincinnati Police Department wishes their chief a happy retirement on Friday. Former Chief Eliot Isaac is retiring after being with the department for 33 years and being chief for six. Teresa Theetge will assume the role of interim chief while Isaac's daughter remains with the department. (Spectrum News 1)On Feb. 22 the Cincinnati Zoo will offer $2 admission with $2 specials on foods and beverages. This is the second time this year that the zoo has offered $2 admission fees in celebration of a year filled with the number two.
