Greenwood Fire is an alt-rock band based out of Boston/Quincy, MA. Currently recording and performing as a duo, we are looking to expand our songwriting and stage presence with a committed drummer. We started as a quartet in 2018, and then decided to rebrand in early 2021 following some personnel changes. In January 2022 we released our debut live acoustic EP, the Whiskey Shed. In the immediate future, we would like to write and record a full band electric EP. Bands that inspire our music are Kings of Leon, Pearl Jam, The Traveling Wilburys, and more. We are looking for our drummer to have a similar taste and help grow this band. We have shows and interviews scheduled for 2022 and are looking for someone to start regularly scheduled rehearsals immediately. Any candidate considered must have access to their own kit and reliable transportation for it. On top of music we also vlog for Youtube and social reels. If you check our channel you should be able to get our vibe. Mix of pranks, rehearsals, road trips, hanging etc. Band members will be in the vlogs so you should be comfortable on camera, otherwise this may not be a good position for you.
