Retired guitar player seeking rockabilly jam partner

Description

I’m trying to expand my guitar skills. I’m a retired graphic designer, and old, [but younger than Mick Jagger]. I judge myself to be a fair to middlin’ advanced intermediate player, but I need a jam partner of a similar skill level to try things out and learn with, test myself, and to hone my chops. I have been focussing only on early blues and country, rockabilly, and pre-64 rock and roll, and would like to meet someone who shares an interest in learning to play these genres with a jam partner, trading riffs and licks. I’m thinking maybe 1-2 hours every other week, but I’m flexible. I am not interested in forming a band or performing or playing new songs, just learning through sharing. The catalog of American popular music I’m studying from 1940-1965 has literally hundreds of songs to learn from. I don’t care about your color, gender, age, or any other irrelevant criteria, except it would be good if you can sing, and you are already familiar with some of the songs. It would also be easier for both of us if you lived within 5 miles or so of 97215. If you are fully vaxxed and boosted, and this idea appeals to you, please send an email with your name and phone #, and I will call you back. I won’t respond by text or email. Sorry to do it this way, but it’s the only way I have found to avoid the spammers. Thanks. Ray
