Press release from the City of Eden Prairie: May 30, 2020 In response to the continued unrest in the Twin Cities, and out of an abundance of caution, Eden Prairie Mayor Ron Case has declared a temporary curfew beginning at 8 p.m. Saturday, May 30, through 6 a.m. Sunday, May 31, and 8 p.m. Sunday, May 31, through 6 a.m. Monday, June 1. All law enforcement, fire and medical personnel, and others authorized by the City of Eden Prairie, Minnesota Department of Public Safety, State Patrol or National Guard, are exempt from the curfew. Individuals traveling to or from work or seeking emergency care, and news media are also exempt. The City asks residents to be aware of your surroundings and avoid any large groups or areas with a significant police presence. If you see anything suspicious, please call 911. Eden Prairie Police are continuously monitoring the situation and working closely with other local and state law enforcement agencies to assess potential threats as events evolve throughout the metro area.
