Voter Preregistration The deadline to preregister in Minnesota is Tuesday, Oct. 13 at 5 p.m. If you miss the voter registration deadline, you can still register to vote and cast a ballot at your in-person absentee voting site or at your regular polling place on Election Day. Prior to joining the City, Officer Jack Welter worked as an Eden Prairie Community Service Officer. He currently serves in the Marine Corps, and he earned his bachelor's degree in law enforcement from Minnesota State University-Mankato. Officer Gena Abramovich most recently served as a police officer for the New Hope Police Department. He earned his bachelor's degree in law enforcement from Metro State University. Officer Todd Bristol most recently worked as a police officer in Montgomery, Minnesota. After high school he served in the Marines for 10 years as active duty infantry and as a reserve military police officer.
