Description

We are looking for temporary workers for an outdoor roadside construction project in Northwest Washington, DC starting this Wednesday (February 23, 2022). The work would be for ONE MONTH (maybe longer), up to 40 hours per week, including NIGHTS and possibly weekend days. Working TWELVE-hour shifts at a time is preferred, but at least 8 hours at a time. You will be observing monitoring devices on the project site to make sure they are not stolen or damaged, and that they are continuously operating properly (collecting data and batteries staying charged). NO specific background or experience needed. Just the following: • You are a reliable and responsible person • Quickly learn how to operate the monitoring device (we’ll train you) • Take directions from the Construction Engineer • Communicate with Construction Engineer as needed • Have your own cell phone with text and data • Have your OWN car/truck to drive to the project site and provide you shelter during bad weather • Able to move the equipment from one location to another • Able to lift at least 50 lbs. • Able to work during day and night hours as required • MUST BE authorized to work in the United States (part-time or 1099 contractor employee) • Start as soon as this Wednesday (2/23/2022)
