Has anyone heard of this animal rescue?

I just wanted to make a post because I’ve been concerned about all the loose exotic animals lately (I know they haven’t hurt anyone yet but it’s still alarming) and I didn’t know about this rescue and didn’t know if it might help anyone or an animal in need. A friend told me about it so I had to look into it more since she just called it Zoo Rescue but it’s called Zoo Rec. They do have a long name but it seems really good. Here’s the website www.zoo-rec.org, my friend had showed me the Facebook but I don’t do Facebook. Again, I just wanted to share, I don’t mind people owning these kinds of animals as long as it’s safe and kept housed right, I mean just like dogs and cats should be. But I do worry about these kinds of animals and had not seen many rescues like this before, I mean there’s a couple like one called bewild that do smaller reptiles and I think there’s another that do some smaller stuff like hedgehogs and bunnies but it’s nice to know something like the coatimundi would have somewhere to go! It was just so cute and I was worried what would have happened to it!!! You know how those situations go! Thank goodness the owner claimed it!! But you just know something like this is gonna happen again at this rate! Thought this could help these newer ongoing escaped animals, I’ve emailed animal control but not sure if that will do anything. Have a blessed Sunday!!
