The Delta Memorial Endowment Fund Inc. (DMEF, Inc.), announces the return of its Annual Literary Luncheon The Literary Luncheon is the signature event of DMEF, Inc., now in its 44th year! Each year, DMEF Inc. hosts notable authors and the event proceeds provide funding for college scholarships to graduating high school seniors, as well as to charitable organizations. The keynote speaker will be Dasha Kelly Hamilton, the 2021-22 Milwaukee and Wisconsin Poet Laureate and author of four novels including “Almost Crimson”; literary project “A Line Meant”. In addition to being a writer, Dasha Kelly Hamilton is a performance artist, curator and facilitator. Her nonprofit, Still Waters Collective, initiated literary arts programming for 20 years, creating platforms for thousands of voices to be honored and heard. The organization continues to partner on impact projects, including a creative leadership fellowship.
