We welcome Dave Thomas for a solo concert at the Fox Island Chapel on Echo Bay! Dave Thomas A singer, songwriter, and musician. Dave grew up in the suburbs of Dayton, Ohio. He started playing guitar at 10 years old and had his first band playing gigs at 13. Since that time, he has been performing regularly, both solo & with others while studying music, songwriting and recording. At 19, Dave relocated to California where he spent the next 2 decades playing professionally and working in countless recording studios up and down the state. He also earned a degree in Music on guitar from California State University system. At 38, Dave relocated to Gig Harbor, WA where he still resides today. He spent 20 years as the guitarist for Chapel Hill Presbyterian Church while he and his wife raised their 2 children, and formed a successful local band, The Shy Boys, that continues still. Dave also plays guitar with Wickline Family & Friends. He is the owner of Seacliff Sound recording studio. Whether playing solo or with his band, originals or covers, Dave enjoys performing. His music generally has an acoustic flavor & covers songs from the past several decades by artists such as James Taylor, Jackson Brown and Cat Stevens. The doors will open at 5:30pm Potluck & BYOB for Chapel members Doors open to the public at 6:30pm The concert will begin at 7:00pm Chapel members are offered free tickets using a promo code.
