Lithuanian Easter Egg Dying
Learn the Art of Marguciai (aka Lithuanian egg dying). Two dates to choose from: Sunday, Feb 27, 2022 (1pm to 4:30pm) or Friday March 25, 2022 (6pm to 10:30 pm). Wax is applied to real raw eggs and then the egg is placed in a dye bath. The wax resists the dye creating a design. The process may then be repeated to create multicolored patterns by using progressively darker dye baths with wax application in between. When complete, the egg is blown out and the wax melted off to reveal the intricate designs.
