I really need some good w00d. It has been far too long. 34bi female open to any age or race but must come to you. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Would like to join or form a band with folks my own age. Not looking for a "project" or some ones personal dynasty. Also, not looking to be some disposable backup player for some self proclaimed "producer". It amazes me how many people want a bass player, but do not read the ad text. Been down the "higher gun" road. Been there, done that, not interested. Influences are Hard rock, folk rock, big band, psychedelic, 60's, soul, Lounge Jazz, folk, Western swing, anyone who played at Woodstock or Monterey Pop. Fringe bands of the 60's. Heck, Id even like doing Paul Revere and the Raiders tunes. Budgie, Nagahyde Lounge anyone? We take our time to write good songs over rushing a bunch of crap ones. Technique, Music Theory. We like to have fun and not take ourselves too seriously. As soon as you get up to speed we can transition over. We have booked gigs throughout the year and a festival coming up. We normally play a couple times a month, but it's fluid depending on the shows.Getting a little weary of making music on my computer and thought I'd reach out to some other rockers who might be feeling the same. All genre’s welcomed but gravitating towards ‘90s alt and Grunge currently. Looking for duo work only w/ the possibility of joining an established band. Gigs, fun and possibly recording. Improve our chops some and expand the know and unknown expanse of the musical cosmos.
