Dayton Battle of the Bands - Week 1 (rescheduled) Dayton Battle of the Bands - Week 1 features four local jam, funk and psychedelic rock bands including: Luv Locz Experiment, Intergalactic Space Force, Mojo Power, Seth Gilliam and The Fake News. This is a fun way to check out new, local, original music! The winner of this round earns a spot on the Levitt Dayton schedule for Summer 2022, gets a live video of their performance in the finale by Sound Valley, and will compete to win an EP session from Dayton Sound Studios and the Dayton BOTB title! Week 1 was rescheduled from January - and is held on Thursday, February 24th at The Brightside (905 E 3rd St, Dayton). Doors open at 7pm - Show 7:30-10:30pm. $10 adv or day of show. Please be prompt to see all the bands! Each ticket buyer gets one vote. The voting is rank choice - you have to vote for 3 bands. NOTE: The venue has installed UV-C filters to sanitize the circulated air. Masks are strongly recommended. All ages welcome. Renovated industrial building in the heart of downtown Dayton.
