Description

Expand your social circle and learn how to make home made tamales and salsa. What are we making this time? Adrianna Young grew up making Tex Mex food with her family and has agreed to share some of these amazing recipes with us during this social cooking class. She will teach us how to make pork tamales, a fresh salsa, and a classic margarita recipe. You'll enjoy her fun personality and passion for creating delicious meals. During these events: You don’t need to bring a friendYou don’t need to be a good cookYou don’t need to be good at networkingFrom the minute you walk in to the class, your host will introduce you to other guests, allowing you to join the conversations easily without interrupting. Each class is tailored to a specific age range, and most people come to the events by themselves, so rest assured that you will feel comfortable if you choose to fly solo. Once the class begins, you’ll get to work with a team of four people who all share something in common to build a family-style meal for the table. The class is intentionally interactive so you can talk and laugh with your group, and everyone else, while making the food. *This specific class is geared towards people who are in the age range of 40's to 60's to create a space for more relatable conversations that lead to deeper friendships.* We won’t overwhelm you with complicated recipes – the directions are simple, hands-on, and are for any skill level, even if you are not a confident cook. Your teacher will be laid-back and create a comfortable atmosphere for you to participate as much or as little as you’d like. For the last part of the class, you’ll get to sit down with everyone and eat what your team created. Don’t forget to grab the phone numbers of the people you want to connect with again! Join other professionals in their 40’s – 60’s who are ready to find a new social circle of friends. Colorado Springs has a lot to offer – why not meet people who want to enjoy it with you?
