SideTrack Bar + Grill presents “A Night at the Speakeasy” featuring an evening of jazz, small plates and drinks Join SideTrack Bar + Grill for “A Night at the Speakeasy” on Tuesday, March 29, featuring an evening of jazz, small plates and drinks. Typically closed on Tuesdays, the restaurant becomes a speakeasy-style lounge for one evening, featuring blacked out windows and inviting guests to enter through the kitchen into an underground nightclub of the 1920s. Enjoy food, drink, dancing and live music by the Bay Area’s Matt Finders & Friends, who will create the ambience of a 1920s speakeasy with their jazz performance. Put on your dancing shoes and breakout out your finest vintage attire - speakeasy dress is encouraged, but not required. The Food & Drink: Enjoy a selection of small plates all night long including SideTrack’s signature Scoozzi!, Ahi Avocado Poke, Avocado Eggrolls, Steak Skewers and more. A full bar is available to guests with beer, wine and signature cocktails flowing all night long. Enjoy all of your SideTrack favorites from Mezcal Sours to its signature Manhattans. The Entertainment: Matt Finders and Friends is a quartet of seasoned local musicians skillfully performing the American Songbook as well as more contemporary latin and blues tunes. The group consists of Matt Finders on bass, Karen Marguth on vocals, John R. Burr on keyboard, and Kelly Fasman on drums. The group has been performing together for nearly ten years. As a trombonist, Matt was a member of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno Band for 17 years. John R. Burr toured for many years with Maria Muldaur and blue grass legend, Allison Brown. Kelly Fasman worked with Kenny Loggins and Peter Cetera, and Karen Marguth has four critically acclaimed CDs under her own name. Joining this group to make it a quintet is the talented saxophonist, Nate Kettner, who lives and works in Los Angeles. Nate has performed with nearly every swing band in LA and Orange Counties. Cost/Entry: Tickets are $35 plus tax and include unlimited small plates. Price does not include drinks. Seating is limited, tickets are not available at the door and must be purchased in advance
