International Women’s Day rally The Party for Socialism and Liberation is celebrating the spirit of a working-class, anti-imperialist, and militant International Women’s Day in Los Angeles on Saturday, March 5th at Grand Park (across from City Hall). Women’s rights are under attack. The unelected and unaccountable body of the Supreme Court is threatening to reverse decades of struggle for abortion rights by undermining the precedent of Roe v. Wade in Mississippi and Texas. As the Democratic Party stands idly while the assault on women’s reproductive rights and bodily autonomy continues, working-class women of color who are the most disproportionately impacted by a ban on abortion rights are organizing to make our voices heard! We demand abortion to be legalized nationwide! We demand the Senate pass the Women’s Health and Protection Act to ensure federal protections to those seeking accessible abortion care as well as the healthcare professional providing abortion services! We demand an end to state-sanctioned violence against women here in the U.S. and abroad! We demand an end to systemic exploitation of women’s work and labor worldwide! Join the PSL and partnered organizations for a rally to defend abortion rights and lift up the international struggle for working women’s liberation on Saturday, March 5th in the heart of downtown Los Angeles.
