We are sadly looking for a really great home for Chewie, our much-loved hedgie. He was born about March 2020, so he is nearly 2 years old. He is in great health, and has a quirky personality. He often anoints when he is out roaming on the bed or sofa with us, which is adorable to watch! We want to find a home with someone who is experienced with hedgies. They are NOT good first pets, or for young kids. Their spines hurt! Please respond only if you have experience with prickle pigs. Chewie comes with at least a 6month supply of food, and the best critter condo you have ever seen! His condo has four rooms on two levels (courtesy of an Ikea cabinet). He has a sleeping chamber, an exercise room, his food & water room, and finally his "living room" with sofa, chair, bookcase & lamps made of Legos. All the heating and light required to keep him healthy in our cold state. We keep him on fleece bedding, which makes it easy to keep his cage clean and smelling fresh. We have hundreds of dollars invested in his habitat and himself. A rehoming fee of $150 is requested. Please contact if you are yearning for another hedgie with an excellent set-up.
