INTRODUCTION TO SPORTIMG CLAY Sporting Clays can be considered new compared to Trap and Skeet but has grown in popularity over the last 10 years, especially in California. The course offers 25 challenging shots at 5 stations, most of which have 2 traps. The course is designed as introduction to this sport. You will the option to call for your target or the instructor will assist in calling your target. It is a great time, and you will enjoy this course as well as outdoor exercise. You must show proof that you have taken a Basic Shotgun Class, NRA Basic Shotgun Shooting Course or some type of Shotgun Safe Handling Class by emailing NRA Shotgun Instructor Zoe Morgan at [email protected]. We meet at Raahauge Outdoor Shooting Range, 14995 River Road, Eastvale, California 92880. Their phone number is (951) 735-7981 in case you have any parking or driving directions. Do NOT use your iPhone/Apple Maps for direction because it will get you lost. Their website has the best directions, and we recommend you cut and paste. Fill out their on-line waiver prior to attending. We recommend you bring a backpack with food and water and any other necessities for the day. The following is the appropriate Dress Code for your safety: NO open toed shoes, NO low-cut shirts and NO tank tops. This is an all-weather sport, so dress that day for comfort.
