Fun for the whole family!🥰 Where: Rich Attitude Store 705 S Fifth Ave Maywood, IL 60153, where vision meets fashion😎 When: Sunday 02/20 Story..2:22pm-3:00pm Stay & Play- 3:00pm-4:00pm What: Story Time Please join us for songs, rhymes, and a magical story time as we promote early literacy development, growth mindset, educate through entertainment, & CELEBRATE BLACK HISTORY!!! Your child will learn and practice pre-reading skills, develop an increased vocabulary & attention span, and nurture a lifelong love of reading! After the story you’re invited to stay and play for a bit, get to know your community, shop, and enjoy refreshments. We can’t wait to read with you! It has been said there is a gap of 30 million words spoken to children that come from high income families vs those that come from low income families which then leads to a life long learning deficit. My goal is to close the gap by fostering an appreciation for stories and a love for reading through early literacy development. We promote growth mindset and educate through entertainment! Children will learn & practice pre-reading skills, develop an increased vocabulary & attention span, and nurture a lifelong love of reading! I offer FREE pop up reading events around the community but I also am available for private events ie birthday parties, play dates, corporate events, etc. I bring the total Story Time experience, including but not limited to songs, rhymes, stories, and activities wherever you need it!
