This month's comedians are Steve Scarfo and Bill Simas Need a few hours of laughter? Don't fight the Boston Traffic! The Strand and Rob Steen from Rent A Comic, have partnered to bring some of Boston's Best comedians to Dover! A great way to relieve stress is laughter. Come on to the Strand, with friends and a room of strangers laughing and drinking. VIP ticket benefit Doors open at 7 for VIP ticket holders and 7:15 for General Admission. VIP ticket holders have seating near the stage with a table and a server. TICKETS $25 AT THE DOOR IF AVAILABLE Steve Scarfo is a more than 20-year veteran of the Boston Comedy Scene. His high-energy, real-life approach to material coupled with his sometimes-bizarre viewpoint keeps every audience in stitches. He has worked all over New England, including Comedy Connection in Boston, Laugh Boston, Comix, and many more. Steve also appeared in the A&E real life drama ‘Caesars 24 / 7’, and appears in several movies Including “Fever Pitch”, “The Departed” and “The Fighter”. Bill Simas has hosted at the Comedy Connection in East Providence RI, performed at Catch a Rising Star at Twin River Casino in Lincoln RI, and headlines at various benefits and fundraisers. He also created a very successful show at Comix Comedy Club Bar & Grill at Foxwoods Casino. At Bill’s Comix show at Foxwoods, he started by hosting the show, moved up to the featured act, and is now headlining his own shows as of Fall 2012! Bill has now begun touring nationally, headlining every six months at Catch a Rising Star at The Silver Legacy Casino in Reno, Nevada. Masks are recommended if you have not been vaccinated. The Strand can host dance lessons and dances, ballet group recitals, comedians, burlesque shows, live theater, student music recitals, bands with original music and cover bands.
