Lara Price & Matt Burger The journey of Lara’s career includes tours across the United States, China, multiple bands, and 1 DVD, 6 CD’s that Lara Price has produced, co-written, and on which she has played multiple instruments. Her 6th CD, “I Mean Business,” is exactly that! “I Mean Business” was picked up by Vizztone Label Group and has earned Lara Price a Best Soul/Blues Female Artist nomination for 2017 by the Blues Foundation. Lara’s journey continues in Austin, Texas, where she is currently releasing on her 7th record, “Makin’ Lemonade Lara Price LIVE from ATX”, and working on her 8th studio release “This Is Life”. “Lara Price…combines Gladys Knight’s sophistication with Mavis Staple Grit." -Boston Globe Matt is a guitarist based in Austin. Born and raised in the Chicago music scene, he experienced a melting pot of genres and cultures, ranging from soul jazz to metal to pop. A 2006 alumnus of Berklee College of Music (Boston, MA), he studied jazz and composition with masters Tim Miller, Mark White, Brett Wilmott, Bruce Saunders, Bruno Raberg, Yakov Gubanov and Richard Evans. Afterwards, Matt toured the US and studied Indian Classical music with tabla master Sandip Burman. In 2015 he toured with Nigerian pop star Nneka. Other international performing credits include bassist Gros Pokossi, cellist Ian Maksin, guitarist Gabriel Datcu, vocalist Livia Gazzolo and Disney artists Carly & Martina. Now based in Austin, you can find Matt playing jazz with Austin legend Jon Blondell at the Elephant Room, and with Anastasia & The Heroes. Matt also maintains a busy guitar studio- he’s very proud of his music students. GigFinesse is reinventing the way artists and venues connect.
