Band Beyond Description Crazy Horse Presents Ages 21+ Do you love the Grateful Dead? Do you value improvisational collaborations between marvelous musicians? Then this is the event for you! Welcome to the special St. Patty’s Day edition of Band Beyond Description. There’s not much crossover between the Grateful Dead and Irish traditions, but that doesn’t diminish an extra celebratory spirit for the occasion. We’re bringing in the most blatantly Irish musician we can come up with – new Nevada City resident Connor O’Sullivan on bass (Midnight North). We won’t require him to wear a leprechaun costume, but he will be dancing a jig while laying down the juicy grooves throughout the night. Then we’ve got our old pal Sean Lehe joining the party on guitar and vocals. We think he’s German but he can pass for Irish. Then of course you have your regular hosts – Jonny Mojo on guitar and Gary Campus on drums. Jonny is a blazing ginger so he’s at the very least an honorary Irishman. These guys need no introduction, but we’ll still tell you that this is one of the hottest GD tribute nights in the country and has produced more transcendent moments than we can even remember. Where will they go this time?
