San Juan Capistrano Downtown Walking Tour Do you enjoy history and architecture? Join us for a guided walk and learn the stories behind the unique buildings of San Juan Capistrano. The walks start every Saturday at 10:00 am, at the SJC Train Depot on Verdugo Street. A donation of $5 per person is requested. All proceeds support the Friends of the Library. The Friends of the Library, a nonprofit San Juan Capistrano library group, benefits and encourages library use and preservation of the award winning library. The SJC Historical Society endeavors to protect and share the continuing story of California and the Capistrano Valley. The Historical Society offers a variety of learning opportunities and resources where visitors of all ages can learn about the region’s history.
