Join Emily's walk to learn about urban ecology and pockets of habitat as wildlife corridors with a mini-bird walk. Learn about the natural history of Southern California, and how we can help wildlife where we live. Receive resources about restoring and providing habitat for wildlife in the city.

Emily is the Community Program Manager at Los Angeles Audubon Society, a nonprofit organization that focuses on wildlife conservation through research, education, recreation, and habitat restoration. Emily leads many environmental education programs for varying audiences from inner-city elementary school students to high school students to community college students. She enjoys teaching about the natural history of Los Angeles, including topics such as water conservation, plant communities, urban wildlife, geology, and more.
Arlington Garden is a climate-appropriate, habitat garden offering learning, inspiration, and enjoyment for all. We are a free, volunteer-maintained garden that is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All proceeds help the garden to remain open and free for everyone.
We endeavor to engage, educate and demonstrate how a climate-appropriate habitat garden can be both beautiful and practical to maintain while incorporating the goals of water conservation, habitat creation, and environmental sustainability
