Moving through grief as we approach the 2nd Anniversary of life in pandemic.
MUDA's Embodyment Workshops create a space where mindfulness, meditation and movement can come together for an evening of embodied release, from the inside out.
The goal of this workshop is to soften as we process grief together.
As we move into Spring, we are creating space to feel + grieve together, to target the points that we are holding grief in the body, gently move through and warm up these areas of tension, and acknowledge the power in sharing this energy together. We are not alone.
*Our movement is created for all bodies and all levels. Gently guided and developed with you in mind.*
Bring: water, comfortable shoes or socks, an open mind.
Our workshop series this year was created to help us raise funds toward our dance film installation, Year 31, this winter. We appreciate your generosity, click here if you wish to donate, but can't attend.
We are a movement company. We are a dance duo. We are friends.
We make moves for film, live performances, and still images. We make dance to move you. We work with dancers and first-time movers. We believe that dance tells a story and we move bodies to narrate the experience of living.
We are gardeners. We live to excavate and find the hidden and untold.
We seek to start a conversation about the every day. The beauty, the sadness, the rawness that is life itself.
Let’s make something move!
