Free Family Crafting Using Recycled and Reclaimed Materials, Presented by reDiscover Center Get crafty with the whole family! Culver City's reDiscover Center hosts this fun, kid-friendly "make and take" event for ages 4-8 on the plaza at Ivy Station Culver City. Tap into your inner maker and create something new out of recycled and reclaimed materials. A different art project every Saturday. Come to one event or all! Sat. 2/12 - Valentines-themed activities using cardboard and crafting materials Sat. 2/19 - Instant Costumes with Recycled Materials - Use fabric, cardboard, and recycled materials to make an instant costume. Jump into history with a headdress or helmet, transform into an animal, or take on superpowers by making the right accessories. Sat. 2/26 - Whirligigs and Wind Powered Toys - Capture the wind to make moving sculptures and toys using recycled materials. All materials provided.
