Make your own rain barrel at this workshop at a fraction of retail cost and save water at home! Led by Sydney Abraham, Watershed Ambassador Make your own rain barrel at this workshop at a fraction of retail cost and save water at home! Did you know that during a 1 inch rainstorm 623 gallons will run off a 1000 square foot roof? Wouldn't it be great to collect some of that water and use it to water your gardens or wash the car? Storm water can create problems with flooding, erosion, and washing pollutants into our waterways. Rain barrels are part of the solution! All materials provided. Limit of 8 rain barrels. One rain barrel per ticket. Ticket sales end 3/18 at 4:00 PM. You must pre-register, walk-ins will not be allowed to participate. This program will be held indoors; face masks and social distancing required regardless of Covid vaccination status. COST: $35 per rain barrel for members, $45 per rain barrel for nonmembers. If we cancel, due to lack of participation, severe weather, or unforeseen circumstances, all participants will be notified as soon as possible and are eligible for a full refund. Participants may cancel without penalty if greater than 48 hours in advance. Sorry, no refund for cancellations less than 48 hours in advance unless due to health emergencies; however registrations can be transferred to another program in the future.
