Fall Cohorts Assigned in Apple Valley-Rosemount- Eagan District

EAGAN, MN — District 196 has assigned the cohorts that will be used this fall for the hybrid model of learning. Apple Valley-Rosemount-Eagan schools will follow the schedule below: Cohort A (last names beginning with letters A through K) will be in school Mondays and Thursdays, with distance learning all other school daysCohort B (last names beginning with letters L through Z) will be in school Tuesdays and Fridays, with distance learning all other school daysThe cohorts were divided by last name so children from the same family attend school in person on the same days, school officials said in a release: The goal was to have about the same number of students in each cohortChildren with different last names who live in the same household will be able to be in the same cohort, according to the districtStudents getting center-based special education services may be assigned to a different cohort, but schools will work with families and consider changesAlso read: Rosemount-Apple Valley-Eagan District Alters School Calendar
