WEST HAVEN, CT — (Pictured): New University of New Haven police Officer Jeff Suchy is sworn in by Mayor Nancy R. Rossi at City Hall on Thursday, Feb. 17. Attending the ceremony were Suchy's wife, Kelly, and UNH Police Chief Adam Brown. Suchy, of West Haven, recently retired from the New Haven Police Department after a 21-year career.
