Grad Ceremonies For Burnsville-Eagan-Savage District Announced

EAGAN, MN — Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District 191 will host modified graduation ceremonies this spring to honor the 2020 graduates. The celebrations were designed to follow the guidelines established by the Minnesota Department of Health to avoid spreading coronavirus in the community. Sign up for Patch news alerts and newsletters for what you need to know daily. BEST Program Burnsville-Eagan-Savage Transition program students will receive their diplomas individually. They will be assigned specific times. When: Tuesday, June 2 Where: River Ridge Education Center, 100 River Ridge Ct, Burnsville. BAHS Burnsville Alternative High School (BAHS) will host a virtual commencement ceremony that features recorded messages from students and Staff. Each graduate will be recognized individually. BAHS staff are currently making plans to present diplomas to students individually. Where: District 191 YouTube channel When: Thursday, June 4 at 5 p.m. Adult Education Students graduating from the District 191 Adult Education program will receive their cap and gown, certificates and have a photo opportunity the week of May 18 When: The week of May 18 Where: Diamondhead Education Center, 200 W. Burnsville Pkwy. Additionally, a virtual commencement ceremony will be held June 6 at 6 p.m. on the District 191 YouTube channel. Burnsville High School At Burnsville High School, students will receive their cap and gown, diploma cover and official program. A virtual commencement ceremony will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, June 5 on the District 191 YouTube channel. Families and community members are encouraged can post on social media using #One91Grads. Additionally, a Class of 2020 gathering is being scheduled for early August.
