EAGAN, MN — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. Together with Ring, we're working to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories. This submission comes from Andrea Fish who nominated Jamie Hopkins of Eagan. Name: Jamie Hopkins State: MN Home town: Eagan Hero's job: Non-profit Management Relationship to nominee: via Eagan Foundation Reason for recognition: Community COVID-19 Response: When Eagan felt the hardships of COVID-19 and various shutdowns, the Eagan Foundation moved to immediately set up a coronavirus relief fund so that local citizens and businesses could be connected with the resources they need. One thing to know: This local organization supports local efforts, community-building, and citizen engagement - even during a pandemic.
