Description
Press release from Ramsey County Government:
February 9, 2022
Update: As of Feb. 17, 6 p.m. mask requests are no longer being accepted.
Thank you to everyone who requested N95 and KN95 masks this month through our A Mask for Everyone initiative.
The supply of these higher-qualify face masks we had were available on a limited, first-come, first-served basis. Our public health team is working quickly to fulfill these orders. Please allow up to 2-3 weeks for delivery. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we respond to the high demand.
While we no longer have these masks available, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has free N95 masks available to pick up at local pharmacies across the country. Under this program, every person is allowed up to 3 free masks pending availability.
For masks to be effective, they need to worn correctly in recommended locations.
