David is a hard working 55 year old carpenter / handyman from Amityville Village. Just as Covid hit he was diagnosed with IPF (Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis) a rare, terminal lung disease and told he had about 2 - 5 years to live. In less than a year he went from a healthy, hard working "young", strong 53 yr old to 54 and in need of oxygen to walk downstairs. It's been physically and mentally exhausting to say the least! Hopefully he'll be able to receive a double lung transplant and get a few extra years. And with that will come a whole new world of things to deal with. He is in need of all of the love, prayers and support he can get.
