Hi, I need to rehome my sister's lab, Apollo. She died a few weeks ago in a car accident and I took him in to make sure he had somewhere to live. But my dog does not get along with other dogs and I live in a studio apartment. I'm currently having to keep Apollo crated to avoid fighting and it's not fair to him. It is extremely difficult for me to write this because I feel like I'm letting down my sister but I have to do what's right by Apollo. I checked with local shelters and was told I should try to rehome him on my own so here I am. He's great with dogs, he wants to be friends with everyone. I've taken him to the dog park and he does amazing, as well as on walks. He clearly wants a doggy best friend but my dog just isn't having it. Apollo is one years old and a typical young Lab. He needs lots of exercise and attention to be happy. I will need vet references and to meet in person before giving Apollo to anyone. I am willing to drive within 30 minutes of Camp Hill, I really can't afford to go further. He is not fixed but he does have all his shots, which I have paperwork for.
